Our meet-ups combine opportunities to meet other artists and practitioners with talks by experts.

No 60 second pitch. No pressure. Nothing indimidating. A simple social thing….

It’s all about relationships. Some that you build over time by meeting the same people again and again (developing mutual knowledge and trust) and other that you create by meeting new people.

Working as a freelance or in your own business can be quite lonely sometimes. You will meet like-minded people, entering debates, receiving back support, live enthusiasm, mutual understanding, motivation, feedback, advice etc…leading to raised confidence, and things triggered in your own to move forward.

Speakers cover topics on a wide range of creative and business issues, such as co-working, project planning, money management, social media and much more… Members also get a chance to present their work to the group.

There is also plenty of time for chat and networking – many rewarding personal and professional relationships have started there.

The format of each meet-up:

  • 09:30 Everyone arrives and chat with other attendees.
  • 09:45 Presentation with speaker on a specific subject, with questions.
  • 10:10 Card swap – one to one chats between attendees randomly linked in pairs.
  • 10:35 Group discussion
  • 11:00 Full circle – opportunity for attendees to discuss a project/prototype/idea with the group.
  • 11:30 Attendees who wish to continue conversations can do so for another hour.
  • 12:30 Close

Our meetups currently take place in:

  • Chatham, Nucleus Arts
  • Faversham,  The Phoenix Tavern
